Nightwatch at The Gallery - Alpha Release v0.1.0


Hey everyone, we're super excited to finally unleash the first alpha build of Nightwatch at The Gallery - version 0.1.0! This isn't just any update, This initial build marks our first milestone. 

What's New?

  • Explore Hall A: The first playable section of the gallery, encountering environments and uncovering secrets hidden within its walls.
  • Programmer Progress:
    • Notes System: Keep track of your discoveries and delve deeper into the gallery's history with a robust note-taking system.
    • Cutscene Manager: Witness key narrative moments come to life through an integrated cutscene manager.
    • Dynamic Interaction Items: Interact with objects in the environment, unlocking clues and progressing the story.
    • Dynamic Audio Distance 3D: Immerse yourself in the chilling atmosphere with dynamic audio that reacts to your location and actions.
    • Inventory System Bug Fix: Enhance your gameplay experience with a bug-free inventory system.
    • Puzzle Book System: Decipher cryptic puzzles and unravel the mysteries of the gallery with a dedicated puzzle book.
    • Ritual System (WIP): We're laying the foundation for a unique ritual system that will play a crucial role in the game (still under development!).
    • Real Environment Setup: Prepare to face the eeriness of a realistic environment meticulously crafted for an immersive experience.
    • Dialogue System: Interact with characters and uncover their stories through a comprehensive dialogue system.
    • Window and Door System: Navigate the gallery by opening and closing doors and windows, but be wary of what might lurk beyond.
    • Fixing Item Rotation: Objects now rotate smoothly, enhancing the overall interaction experience.
    • Generator and Light System: Manage power and lighting systems, adding an extra layer of challenge and strategy.
    • Objective Real Condition: Objectives dynamically adapt to your actions, creating a more engaging gameplay experience.
  • Artist Progress:
    • Enemy Character Base Modeling: Meet the first glimpses of the unsettling entities that haunt the gallery.
    • Texturing Gallery Model: The gallery environment comes alive with detailed textures, creating a hauntingly realistic atmosphere.
    • UI/UX Sketch and Polishing: We've refined the user interface and user experience for optimal gameplay clarity and comfort.
    • Base Model Wayang Srikandi: A powerful guardian, the Wayang Srikandi model is being prepped for its future role.
    • Environment Scale Bug Fix: Environmental scaling issues have been addressed, ensuring a visually consistent world.
    • Base Model Item and Properties Hall A: Items within Hall A have received their base models and properties, enriching the environment.
    • Lukisan (Paintings): The first paintings have been implemented, adding a visual layer to the gallery's story.
    • UI Inventory: Manage your inventory with a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
